Mostaccioli

Yummy pasta… It’s a staple in my household and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s as if baked ziti met lasagna acc had a kid. This dish is what you would get. Lol.

Let’s get started…

First, I started with the sauce and here are the culprits…

Simple enough, I use a can of crushed tomatoes and 2 tsps each of pizzeria seasoning, onion onion, garlic garlic, and Italian garlic seasoning.

Sir that up and let simmer.

Brown up a pound of sweet sausage.

Then add to your sauce.

Cook a pound of mostaccioli noodles and drain.

Add your sauce

Mix

Add half to a baking dish.

In a bowl, combine two cups mozzarella, 1 egg, and a 15 ounce ricotta.

Mix

Add  to the baking dish

Add the rest of the pasta.

Sprinkle a half cup Romano on top

Cover and bake for 25 minutes at 350

Take foil off and bake another 10 minutes and voila!

Plate up and enjoy!

This one is a winner!!!

Till next time folks.
