Macaroni Salad

Aaaahhh… A summertime favorite of mine, macaroni salad. A balance between pasta, dressing, crunchiness… It is one of my favorite salads and there are plenty of variations of this picnic staple. Today, I am going to share with you a pretty simple and standard version. πŸ™‚

Let’s get started. Cook your favorite pasta to al dente which means a little bite. You don’t want mushy pasta EVER! Lol. Rinse and cool down. Throw into a big bowl.

Next, chop up some green pepper. About a half cup.

Chop up two stalks of celery.

Add to your bowl.

Next, we are going to add some GREAT onion flavor with our Onion Onion. One capful.

Add mayo. One cup.

Mustard, about a Tbs.

Salt and pepper to taste. Here it’s about a tsp and then after all its mixed, I taste and re-season, if necessary.

Now, when I was cooking the pasta, I cooked 6 hard boiled eggs. Chop up and mix.

Now that is a no miss macaroni salad!

Enjoy!
