Bayou Bourbon Chicken and Slaw Sandwiches

Today, I’m going to share a recipe from one of Tastefully Simple’s meal collections. It’s the Bayou Bourbon Chicken and Slaw Sandwiches and it is so yummy.

Our meal collections are great. The dinner boxes come with the spices and sauces to create tasty dinners at home for about $3 a serving. They also have grocery lists so you don’t waste any time in the grocery store and you control the produce and protein going into your dinner. So you can shop as local and as fresh as you want!

Ok, let’s get on with it. This meal was so easy to put together and it was a crowd pleaser.

First start with a rotisserie chicken. Debone it, chop it up, and put it into a sauce pan. This was the most amount of time spent on the diner.

Next, you want to add 1/2 cup of our Bayou Bourbon sauce which is a favorite of mine. Goes so well on chicken, pork, or salmon. Yum!

Next, add 1/4 cup of our Vidalia Onion dressing. This is my wife’s favorite dressing.

Mix it up and heat through.

For the slaw, I just bought a bag of slaw at the grocery and added 1/4 cup of the Vidalia Onion.

That’s it. Quick and easy.

Let’s assemble this sandwich. The recipe casks for buns. I went with sliders. Just because. 🙂

First, the Bayou chicken…

Next, the slaw…

That’s it!

Don’t they look yummy?

They were. Lol.

I served it with a sweet mashed.

Delish!

This is a hit. I can’t stress  enough how easy it was to put this dinner together and how delicious it was. 🙂

Well, till next time…

To your abundance, my friends!
