Today, I’m going to share with you a light, refreshing poundcake that will delight your crowd.
Preheat your oven to 325.
First you start with the cake mix, 1 stick of butter, and 1 cup of water…
Mix with a spoon. 25 twirls. DON’T mix till smooth. It will be lumpy.
Pour into a loaf pan.
Bake in your preheated oven for 55 minutes. Place on a chilling rack and let cool completely.
Now, let’s prepare the icing.
Inside of the box there were two packets of mix. The first one we used was the pound cake mix. The second is the icing. It’s powdered sugar. To that you will add 2 Tbs melted butter and 2 Tbs of water. Wisk.
Once your pound cake is cooked, spread the icing on top and enjoy!
