Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Yesterday, our middle guy, Hayden, turned the big 10. He has been basking in the glow of birthday “week.” Since, yesterday was his birthday, he got a special breakfast treat, Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Dessert for breakfast. 🙂

Ingredients:

1.5 cups of all purpose flour

1 eggs

3 Tbs butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1 Tbs baking powder

1 1/4 cups of milk

Handful of chocolate chips

Combine everything in a bowl

Mix and pour 1/4 cup portions of your batter on a heated griddle.

Add chocolate chips.

Let cook until bubbles start to come through the batter then flip.

Cook until they are golden brown on the other side and plate…

Enjoy! These guys did…

Hayden, the 10 year old.

and Grayson… my littlest guy

I would have included the 15 year old but he scarfed his pancakes down before I could snap a pic. LOL!

Here is the end of our dinner celebrating the “10 year old.”
