Bacon, Mushrooms, and Chicken

Just from the title, my mouth is watering. This is an absolutely delicious dish. Deep flavored with chicken broth, a layer of bacon flavor, cheese, mushrooms… This dish has it all.

Let’s get this party started…

Ingredients:

2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

12 ounce container of mushrooms

1/2 lb bacon

1.5 cups of chicken broth

1 cup of Italian styled cheese

2 Tbs butter

1 – 2 Tbs Oil

Flour for dredging

Preheat your oven to 450

Start by frying up your bacon in a pan and placing it to the side. Eventually, you will want to crumble that bacon.

In a 5 qt pan, put your oil and butter in and get a medium heat going.

(not pictured) Cut your chicken breasts into 3 thin layers and dredge in flour.

Once the pan is heated, you will want to cook them until they are slightly golden.

Once the chicken is done, place in a baking dish.

In the pan that you cooked the chicken, add your chicken broth and scrape the bottom. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

While the broth is simmering, add a little oil to another pan and add your mushrooms to it. I sliced them up.

Sautee…

Let’s start to assemble the dish.

Once your broth has simmered, pour it over your chicken.

Add the mushrooms.

Next, we are going to add the cheese and bacon.

Bake in the oven 15 – 20 minutes.

Yummy, huh?

Plate up with some potatoes and a veggie.

Give this a try and it will quickly become one of your favorite chicken dishes.

Have a great day folks!

To your abundance,
