Ahhhh… Hummus. What a delicious snack and for my vegetarian friends, a staple. Not gonna lie, hummus is the only way you will get me to eat carrots. Lol. But seriously, hummus is such a great snack. You get great protein and fiber from the garbanzo beans. It’s a no brainer. And with Tastefully Simple’s Red Pepper Hummus mix, super easy and super delicious.
3 Ingredients. That’s it.
1 can of garbanzo beans
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 pack of Tastefully Simple’s Red Pepper Hummus mix
(and reserve 1/4 cup of the liquid in the garbanzo bean)
So, if you include that, 4 ingredients. 🙂
Start with throwing everything into a food processor. I have a little Ninja processor that does the trick.
Blend for 1 – 2 minutes and voila…
Beautiful, creamy, hummussy goodness… It does have a touch of garlic in the taste as well. Beautiful flavor. If you have the ability to make it a day ahead, you’ll thank me later for that because the flavors just marry and come alive. It’s wonderful.
See, it’s the only way I will eat carrots. 🙂
And I ate some the day I made it and saved some for the next day, then the family found it and there was no more… 😦
