Pineapple Casserole

Hey everyone…

I’ve got a winner that I am going to share with you today. This is a yummy and delicious side dish/desserty type dish. This is one of my favorites that I make for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Try it, I think that you will LOVE IT! Pineapple Casserole.

Ingredients:

1 cup of sugar

6 Tbs all purpose flour

2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

2 (20 ounce) cans of pineapple chunks

1 cup of buttery crackers like Ritz, crushed

8 Tbs butter

So, let’s get started…

Preheat your oven to 350.

Grease a 8×8 casserole dish.

In a large bowl, combine the flour and sugar.

Next, add your cheddar cheese and mix up.

Drain your pineapple chunks but reserve 1/4 cup of the juice.

Add to the cheese mixture and mix up then add to your greased casserole dish.

Melt the stick of butter.

In another bowl, add crushed crackers, melted butter, and pineapple juice.

Combine and put on top of pineapple mixture in casserole dish.

Pop it in the oven for 25 – 30 minutes until golden brown on top.
