Herb crusted Salmon

Hey everyone…

How was your weekend? Mine was jam-packed. Our 14-year-old had homecoming and a party afterwards. Quite the production. Baseball with our 9-year-old on Sunday. And our 21 month old was running amok all weekend long. Lol. The thing that I take away from the weekend is that time stands still for no one and it goes way too quickly.

One of the things I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE about Tastefully Simple is that you can put something on the dinner table that is absolutely fabulous with not a lot of work. Today I am going to share my Herb Crusted Salmon. I’m using our Seafood and Fish Seasoning which is a spring summer leftover but I will use our Rustic Herb seasoning at times as well.


This seasoning has a light garlic taste but buttery, buttery, buttery is what I say and who doesn’t like butter. Anywho… Pre-heat your oven to 450. Put a couble of Tbs of butter and olive oil in a baking dish and place in the oven while pre-heating.


Next, you want to season one side of your salmon. I say one side because one side will still have skin on it. At least for the moment.


Once the oven is pre-heated, take the pan out of the oven. USE GLOVES. place the salmon in the baking dish, shin side down.


Place back in the oven and let bake 5 – 6 minutes.

Remove dish from the oven. Flip the salmon and remove the skin. The skin will literally pull off with ease as the heat from the last 5 – 6 minutes has done most of the work.


Put back in the oven and bake for another 5 – 6 minutes until done. Remove and plate.


If you are a salmon lover, you will absolutely love this dish. The Seafood and Fish seasoning is no longer available but the Rustic seasoning is and it marries well with the salmon. Also, our Bourbon Bayou, Ginger Orange Sriracha, and Honey Teriaki sauces also make excellent glazes on salmon. Feel free to try any of these.
